A song about our veterans who've been willing to sacrifice all if necessary. It's a call to never forget.
“Atlanta’s Brian Futch told me that he grew up in Florida on a mix of Southern Rock, singer songwriters and guitar influences like Randy Rhoads and Angus Young, which really explains the well-rounded sound of his debut album. The guitar playing is fluid and grabbed my attention the first time I played the album. Brian’s songwriting is as good as it gets. I can’t say enough about Brian’s vocals either. The voice, the guitar, the production (by Cass Anawaty), the band and yes, the songs, make this CD one to cherish. First, there was Brian Futch, And Then There were Songs. Really, really good ones. - Michael Buffalo Smith ” - Michael Buffalo Smith

In 2012, Lead singer/guitartist Brian Futch, met Jon Bigthunder Bores through one of many internet music sites. Brian, living in Tuscaloosa at the time, and Jon began Sunday afternoon jam sessions auditioning musicians for a future band, but never quite finding the right combination. Jon eventually had to take a break due to surgery, but recommended Brian to Birminghams's Who Shot Lizzy? who was looking for a guitarist at the time. It was there that Brian met Randy Guyton, harpist extraordinair....Fast forward to 2016...Randy and Brian were looking to form a blues based band to play Gips Place and Southern Mojo was born. Jon and Kelly Miller came on board for that first show and it's been Southern Mojo ever since. They are currently putting together a 5 song EP and getting ready for their next show somewhere in Alabama or Georgia. You can find them on Facebook, as well, at https://www.facebook.com/SOUTHERNMOJOALABAMA/. Come on board and check them out! They'd love to hear from you!
